As shown in the figure above, this is an efficient Material Transfer Cart customized for a local customer in Xinxiang, Henan. The customer primarily intends to use this equipment to transport long steel plates within their workshop. Given the considerable length of the materials, manual transportation is impractical. After consulting multiple suppliers, the customer contacted us to design a solution.

We can clearly see that the cart features an elongated body designed to run along a preset track. To achieve this, we implemented a specialized design consisting of two small Transfer Carts at the front and rear, connected by a steel-frame structure with rollers in between. This design not only extends the overall platform length but also maintains handling efficiency. Even when carrying steel plates as long as 8 meters, the cart operates smoothly.

For this type of Rail Transfer Cart, we have included standard safety features such as audible/visual warnings, overload protection, and an infrared obstacle-detection system to ensure safe transportation. Additionally, the prominent red column at the front of the cart serves as an anti-collision buffer. In the event of an impact, this feature minimizes collision forces, protecting both the material and the equipment.

Although this Steel Plate Transfer Cart was customized for steel plate transportation, it can also handle other fixed-route material transfers within the workshop, as long as the load remains within its rated capacity. We expect this product to significantly improve the handling of long materials like steel plates in the customer’s workshop, enhancing their steel structure processing and production efficiency.
