A towed transfer cart is a transport tool that requires a forklift or other equipment for movement. It has no power source and must be pulled by other equipment.
This equipment is also known as an unpowered trailer or industrial trailer. Its structure is relatively simple, consisting of a frame, four or more wheels, a tow bar, and other components. Depending on the load capacity, different platform thicknesses can be selected to accommodate various weights. Customized design specifications allow the towed transfer cart to adapt to most transportation environments. Even in harsh weather conditions, such as extreme cold, high temperatures, dust, or explosion-prone environments, its performance remains unaffected.
There are two types of towed transfer carts: one operates on tracks, while the other runs on roads. Regardless of the type, it must be towed for transportation.
Industrial trailers can be customized for specific applications, including flatbed trailers, low-bed trailers, and trailers with guardrails, among other configurations. Some trailers are also equipped with adjustable tables or brackets to accommodate goods of different sizes and shapes.
