2-Ton AGV Transfer Cart for Warehouse Material Handling

Recently, we customized a 2-ton AGV transfer cart for a major warehousing company in Brazil. After three months of operation, the cart has earned strong customer feedback and has effectively addressed their material handling challenges in a large-scale warehouse environment.

The customer's warehouse is extensive, and previously relied on traditional transfer carts that required dedicated operators at every station. This led to high labor costs, scheduling delays, and overall low efficiency. During our discussions, the customer emphasized their need for automated transfer equipment to streamline material movement without human intervention.

To meet their requirements, our Automated transfer cart uses magnetic tape navigation. It follows pre-set magnetic paths accurately and is programmed to make automatic stops at multiple fixed locations. The cart handles various loads—such as pallets and boxes—autonomously, with no need for manual guidance.

Designed to support at least four hours of continuous operation per day, the cart is equipped with a high-capacity battery and a smart automatic charging system for uninterrupted performance. It also comes with a wireless remote for special operational needs. 

Customer reports confirm that the transfer cart achieves fully driverless automation, increasing handling efficiency by more than 40% and reducing onsite staff requirements significantly. This has greatly cut labor costs and introduced a highly efficient new mode of operation to their warehouse.
