This heavy-duty transfer cart is a product we optimized for a steel plant in Zhejiang. The customer is primarily engaged in steel manufacturing. Due to long-term inefficiencies in handling affecting overall production progress, they contacted our salesperson, Abby, through a recommendation from peer customers.

During our communication with the customer, we learned that they urgently needed efficient transfer equipment—not only for productivity but also for safety reasons. Almost every month, injuries occur in their factory, mostly caused by the slipping of large, difficult-to-handle coils. Currently, there are only a few workers in the workshop, and they are reluctant to perform such hazardous operations.

After assessing the situation, we determined that since the customer's coil transportation occurs mainly between the manufacturing and storage areas—all within the same indoor space—our Rail Transfer Cart was the ideal solution. Additionally, because the customer's workshop operates on a two-shift production model, traditional battery-powered carts would face lifespan issues. Thus, rail power supply was the better choice for their needs.

The most notable feature of this transfer cart is its V-shaped platform, designed specifically for coil transportation. This design ensures a secure fit for the material, preventing slipping and rolling during transit. Further enhancing safety, we added rubber cushions on the platform to protect the coils from damage.
